The Beautician
I'm Rebecca, the face behind the business (and mask!) I started building R'BELLE Beauty in 2018 alongside my office job and part time job in a beauty salon.
I noticed customers from the salon complain that they never had any time for themselves or any of their treatments. Days off consisted of them rushing around and waiting in salons for hours. The service would be impersonal and would often be a stressful experience. This is when I started R'BELLE from the back of my car doing mobile beauty treatments while still working both jobs.
During this time I was also suffering from an illness that changed my appearance drastically over a short period of time, leaving me with lower self esteem. I realised then how much women are constantly judged by how we look, and often pressured to feel that we must keep up our appearance despite how we feel. However, when we do take the time for our beauty routines, it's labelled as 'vanity' as if it's an ugly word.
But in fact, when I began taking the time to care for myself and my appearance more, I felt more confident than ever inside and out and I wanted to share this feeling with others.
Vanity is a form of self-care and self-love and in times like these it is crucial to take the time to be and feel like yourself - unapologetically!
I made it my mission to provide the best service for those who don't just want a quick fix in a crowed salon, but to treat the entire experience as an extension of your treatment - with care and love, giving you the confidence to be yourself in whichever way you chose.
This is is how R'BELLE Beauty was born
